Please apply to the role that you are most interested in. You can then write all the roles you are interested in when completing the basic details section at the top of the aptitude test. Once your test is assessed, if we believe your application is more suited to another role, it will be passed onto the relevant team. If one of the roles you are interested in is the Software Developer role, please ask for the software developer paper during your aptitude test.
Yes, we offer a Software Developer Summer Internship for university students who are in their penultimate year of study.
You can apply via the ‘Apply now’ button on the job page of the role you are interested in. A full list of all our available roles can be found here. Some roles will require you to complete an aptitude test booking form as the first stage and others will simply require you to fill in a form with your basic details. You may be required to attach your CV to the form, so have this ready. To see the full application process click here.
You will be asked to provide information such as your basic details, where you heard about TPP and your CV. We require all applicants to include a full list of grades and subjects for GCSEs/ A levels (or international equivalents) along with your degree or predicted degree classification. If grade information has not been provided, you will not be able to pass the initial stage of the application process. If you have not yet graduated, you should provide your predicted grade. We also accept international equivalent qualifications. If you have studied abroad, please include these details in your application.
Of course, as long as you know your predicted grade we can still take you through the application process. If you are successful, you will have a job ready and waiting for you when you graduate. Alternatively, we also offer placement positions for students looking to complete a year in industry and a summer internship programme for aspiring software developers.
We do not accept applications from candidates who do not meet the listed grade requirements.
We can sponsor visa applications for applicants switching from a Tier 4 student visa to a Tier 2 General visa. Visa sponsorships do not apply to the Deployment Specialist and Product Support Specialist roles.
Logic & Reasoning Tests
All of our test locations are open to all applicants, so feel free to book into whichever location is most convenient for you. We also logic and reasoning tests at our office in Leeds.
Unfortunately, the logic and reasoning test can only be carried out in the specified locations as this takes place under controlled conditions to ensure a fair experience for all applicants.
The logic and reasoning test is logic based – there’s no technical or programming elements - and will last around an hour. The Marketing and Communications logic and reasoning test will include a combination of logic based questions and a written assessment.
The logic and reasoning tests are non-calculator, so all you need to bring is a form of photo ID.
If you would like to reschedule, you will need to book another test via our website. Once a new test has been booked, let us know via [email protected] and we can cancel your original booking.
We reimburse applicants for standard train & car travel expenses, so please make sure you record your mileage or bring your train ticket receipts with you to the interview. If you are organising return travel, try to keep this flexible just in case things run over.
