Please apply to the role that you are most interested in. You can then write all the roles you are interested in when completing the basic details section at the top of the aptitude test. Once your test is assessed, if we believe your application is more suited to another role, it will be passed onto the relevant team. If one of the roles you are interested in is the Software Developer role, please ask for the software developer paper during your aptitude test.
Yes, we offer a Software Developer Summer Internship for university students who are in their penultimate year of study.
You can apply via the ‘Apply now’ button on the job page of the role you are interested in. A full list of all our available roles can be found here. Some roles will require you to complete an aptitude test booking form as the first stage and others will simply require you to fill in a form with your basic details. In both cases, you will be required to attach your CV to the form, so have this ready.
You will be asked to provide information such as your basic details, where you heard about TPP and your CV. Please ensure that your CV contains information about your educational achievements from GCSE level up to degree level (if applicable). This should include the subjects studied and grades achieved. If you have not yet graduated, you should provide your predicted grade. We also accept international equivalent qualifications. If you have studied abroad, please include these details in your application.
Of course, as long as you know your predicted grade we can still take you through the application process. If you are successful, you will have a job ready and waiting for you when you graduate. Alternatively, we also offer placement positions for students looking to complete a year in industry and a summer internship programme for aspiring software developers.
We do not accept applications from candidates who do not meet the listed grade requirements.
All of our test locations are open to all applicants, so feel free to book into whichever location is most convenient for you. We also host aptitude tests at our office in Leeds.
Unfortunately, the aptitude test can only be carried out in the specified locations as this takes place under controlled conditions to ensure a fair experience for all applicants.
The aptitude test is logic based – there’s no technical or programming elements - and will last around an hour. The Marketing and Communications aptitude test will include a combination of logic based questions and a written assessment.
The aptitude tests are non-calculator, so all you need to bring is a form of photo ID.
We reimburse applicants for standard train & car travel expenses, so please make sure you record your mileage or bring your train ticket receipts with you to the interview. If you are organising return travel, try to keep this flexible just in case things run over.
