I completed a BA in Spanish Studies with Arabic and Japanese at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Throughout my time at university, I supported my studies with a variety of other jobs from sales to waitressing. These past experiences with work had drilled into me a rather bleak expectation of what a full time career would be like, but I have been so pleased to discover that TPP is nothing like that. The work is fulfilling and varied meaning I’m always keen to get back to whatever project I may be working on.
I applied to TPP for the international opportunities it offers. Having studied a language degree, I really wanted a role that either involved travelling or using the languages I’d studied. The Deployment Specialist role offered everything I’d been searching for in a career: International travel, a role making a positive impact and a company recognised as a great graduate employer.
I’m part of the Deployment team who are responsible for ensuring a smooth process for customers moving onto SystmOne. This can involve anything from checking that a GP’s patient data accurately migrates on to our system, to project managing international data migrations in China.
One of the best things about the Deployment role is that the team here really support you, not only when you first start, but throughout your entire time at TPP. Even after 5 years, I’m always taking on new challenges and I can do this without worry as I know the rest of my team will always have my back.
When it comes to TPP as a whole, there is so much I’m grateful for. There are regular social events which are incredible, as well as a bar tab every Friday. These give you the opportunities to socialise with your team members, as well as colleagues in other teams. This makes the working environment so much more pleasant and creates a positive atmosphere on a scale that I have never experienced in any other work place.Back to profiles
